Tasting notes:
Tawny in appearance. A lovely nose of wood, nuts, dried apricot and black cherry. The palate shows toffee, chocolate, raisins and prunes, with a sweet, warming character. Balanced by some dry tannins, with caramel and nutty notes on the finish. Still retains some sweet red fruit, such as candied raspberry and cherry. Layered and expressive. Patrick Schmitt MW
