Tasting notes:
This fine and fun rosé bring a little more creaminess to the party of pink wines from the maker of Whispering Angel – Caves d\'Esclans. That’s because some of the blend is aged in French oak, imparting a touch of richness and vanilla, although the main flavours are juicy grapefruit and cherry, along with a subtle bitter citrus bite and bone dry chalky note on the finish. Delicious, and worth trading up to from its ‘whispering’ sibling if you’re looking for a rose to partner with food. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
