From the Don Miguel vineyard in Green Valley and named for Marimar\'s daughter Cristina, this is a specially selected cuvée. Mid-garnet in hue, the wine shows red cherry and bramble fruit with smoky oak and a clay-like minerality. Mid-weight with warming alcohol, the palate has good freshness and linen-textured tannins. Absolutely Sonoma and so Pinot-esque, the wine will match sweetbreads with pumpkin seeds in a light red wine sauce. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
