Tasting notes:

Medium ruby with a narrow brick red rim, suggesting some development. Aromas of lightly stewed fruit, saddle leather and dried mint. Layered and grippy on the palate, medium in weight, with notes of cherry, blackberry and a touch of baked fruit, balanced by a fresher finish showing plum and cherry stone. Well balanced, with fine tannins and subtle sweet spice. Hints of blackcurrant coulis, graphite, milk chocolate and cedar add complexity. Lingering, layered and refined. A powerful yet refined Cabernet-dominant blend showing some youthful intensity, and with great cellaring potential. Patrick Schmitt MW
