Tasting notes:

In the tradition of the families that have tended these vines in this enclave of the Valdobbiadene area since 1542, this wine is a gorgeous expression of this tiny enclave of Cartizze with its steep slopes and friable soils. And, it is the second year that this wine has been awarded our drinks business Prosecco Grand Master. An amazing achievement! The wine, very pale lime-green in hue with a lovely perlage, shows green apple, white peach and gentle grapey fruit and a delicate fresh white bread note. Medium-dry (20g/l r.s.) and beautifully balanced, the wine is light and lively with good intensity and silky mousse texture. Really pretty with hints of white and yellow flowers, lingering, layered and complex. Absolutely stunning, the wine would work nicely with spring flower (sambucus, acacia, zucchini and dandelion) fritters with sage. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
