Tasting notes:

 Since 1881 the Serena family has grown grapes and produced wine with passion and integrity. The company logo is an owl, because where the winery and home vineyard are located is \'Zuitere\', Land of Owls, a symbol of knowledge and wisdom. This wine, pale lemon-green in hue with fantastic perlage, shows yellow peach and white cherry fruit with fresh bread undertone. Extra Brut (6g/l r.s.), the palate is framed by zingy acidity and creamy mousse texture. A serious wine that will match beautifully marinated musky octopus from Caorle napped with puréed potatoes coloured purple by adding squid ink. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
