Cuvée Clive is the top expression from great South African sparkling wine producer Graham Beck – and a prestige cuvée from the Cape that never fails to impress. It’s rich in an instantly appealing mix of pineapple and juicy citrus fruit flavours allied to notes of brown bread and shortcrust pastry. But that’s not all, there are also mouth-filling creamy-textured bubbles and a fresh green apple acidity on the finish to cleanse the palate. Patrick Schmitt MW
