Tasting notes:
Giacomo Bedin planted vines in the Asolani hills in 1948 and today the family tradition continues with Enrico, Denis and Damiano. The wine, very pale lemon-coloured with small, persistent bubbles, shows yellow peach and mirabelle plums with a gently smoky undertone. Off-dry (14g/l r.s.). the light-bodied, chiselled style has bracing acidity and linen moussse texture and good length. A delightful wine to match slow-cooked chicken with tomato, onion, basil, parsley and a couple of glasses of Prosecco served with creamy polenta. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
