Tasting notes:
A serious, complex, indulgent and super drinkable red at a keen price, this Douro blend is really a find. The flavours are ripe and generous, ranging from sweet cherry to blackcurrant, then dark chocolate and rose petal. And, while the texture is full, this wine is not lacking freshness – indeed, the finish is mouth-watering, aided by plenty of dry tannins. Patrick Schmitt MW
