Tasting notes:

An excellent expression of \'heroic viticulture\' on a steeply sloping site in the Rive di San Pietro di Barbarozza with ancient limestone marls and exposed Biancone rocks. Very pale lemon-green in hue with defined perlage, the wine has intensity and elegance with pear and green apple fruit and yeasty and chalky undertones. Extra Brut in style, the mid-weight palate flavours are framed by brisk acidity and linen mousse texture. Nicely defined with a savoury finish, the wine would be a good pairing for a platter of Treviso porchetta and tardivo raddichio. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
