Tasting notes:

The name, 26oIo, marks the 26th year of Andreola and the handing over of the company by founder Nazzareno Pola to his son Stefano. And this wine comes from the steep slopes the single site, Rive Col di San Martino, in the centre section of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene. This wine, very pale lemon-colored with small bubbles and a wide cordon, shows lemon custard, melon, green apple and peach with honey and pastry accents. Extra Brut in style, the palate has light body, racy acidity and \'crackling\' mousse texture with plenty of definition and length. Delicious wine to serve with Montello potato gnocchi with grated Montasio Stravecchio Cansiglio cheese. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
