Tasting notes:

An incredible example of fully mature pure Pinot Champagne with Burgundy-like depth, colour and intensity. Indeed, this is a sparkling wine that could pair well with strong food, including red meats, or hard cheeses, such is its power and character. With notes of hazelnut and dried fruit, it has an initial whiff that’s reminiscent of aged Tawny Port, but on the palate, it’s bone dry and refreshing, with its fine mousse, bringing a cleansing finish to a core of strong flavours, from apricot to caramel, baked apple to candied citrus, charred wood to creamy coffee.
