Tasting notes:

Deep ruby in colour. There are subtle plum and blackberry aromas, with just a hint of fresh cardamom and cinnamon and a touch of chocolate. The palate is supple and rounded, red berry fruit emerging more here. It has very good length and depth. There is a purity to the fruit that is very appealing, with fine oak, a silky texture and a lovely youthful quality.  This is a wine for a Bistecca Fiorentina.  It’s hard to speak of a bargain at these prices, but this is definitely the best value for money bottle we tasted.
