Tasting notes:
A slightly evolved rosé with an amber-peach hue. The nose reveals rosehip, herbal-sweet nuances, and mature Pinot Noir characteristics, with hints of forest floor and rhubarb. Subtle creamy and woody notes add further complexity. The palate is rich and characterful, offering hedgerow fruits, ripe apple, and layered tertiary notes of caramel, wood ash, and a suggestion of old fireplace. Finely grippy and very dry, with a pronounced smoky, almost charcoal-driven finish. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
