Tasting notes:
The first Merlot we tasted, and a very happy start, this was the colour of the paler buds just beginning to show on the camellia in my garden. The nose is wonderful – my exclamation on approaching it was that it smells of summer – floral, sunshine-y, happy. The palate is bright with fresh acidity. A lovely and inexpensive quaffer, for when summer is actually here or when you need to convince yourself that it will, one day, return. (Siobhan Turner MW)
