Tasting notes:

Deep, almost opaque purple points to the depth and concentration of this wine.  The aromas are intense and complex, with blackberries, plums, and a hint of cloves, layered with a ripe cherry brightness and some chocolatey depth, with fine-grained tannins, warming alcohol and a long, lingering finish..  Finely balanced and wonderfully layered, this is nonetheless also a subtle wine, revealing itself slowly and gracefully as you sip it.
