Tasting notes:
Pale salmon in colour, with slightly evolved aromatics. The nose suggests sour apple and oxidative nuances, hinting at a more mature style. On the palate, the wine is very dry, fresh, and tightly structured, with pronounced acidity and a firm, grippy texture. Notes of green apple and subtle oxidative, possibly woody characteristics are evident. The finish is chalky, phenolic, and distinctly biting. While complex, the wine presents a somewhat austere profile. A serious, structured rosé that may appeal to those who favour a more restrained, oxidative style. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
