Tasting notes:
Mid-garnet in colour, this has a surprisingly complex nose of ripe cherries, strawberries, black fruit and a hint of plum and chocolate. On the palate, it is dry, with warming alcohol, and some subtle and really well- integrated oak spice. The palate has wonderfully sandy tannins, ripe acidity and good depth and length. There’s real elegance to this wine, and it’s a true classic. (Siobhan Turner MW)
