Tasting notes:

This wine is sourced from the La Primavera Vineyard in Sagrada Familia, where the soils are free-draining gravel with clay loam. The wine reflects this terroir, showing a deep ruby colour and morello cherry and blackberry fruit, with creamy and toasty oak accents. Dry, the palate flavours are bolstered by crisp acidity and satin-textured tannins. Mid-weight and well-integrated, the allspice and nutmeg notes in this wine make it a good match for roast turkey, or vegetarian butternut squash risotto. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
