Exclusive: Jigger & Pony to open two new venues in Singapore

In an exclusive interview with db, Jigger & Pony creative director Uno Jang revealed that the hospitality group is set to open two new venues in Singapore in the first quarter of 2026.

Speaking to db earlier this month, Jang revealed that he is working on “a few projects right now” for Jigger & Pony.

While “still in the brainstorming process”, he said the hospitality group plans to open two new sites in Singapore in five months.

“At the moment we’re still working on ideas and concepts. We don’t have much to share right now, but I have the ideas in my brain,” he said.

Jigger & Pony Group currently operates four cocktail bars – three in Singapore and one in Jakarta, Indonesia – and two restaurants. Cosmo Pony, its first and only Indonesian venture, launched in 2024 and is a collaboration with The Union Group.

When Cosmo Pony launched early last year, it was the eighth venue operated by the group. However, in July 2025 Jigger & Pony Group announced it was shuttering two of its Singapore-based sites – American grill restaurant Rosemead and rum bar Sugarhall.

Jigger & Pony Group’s remaining venues include bars Jigger & Pony, Live Twice, Gibson and Cosmo Pony, and restaurants Caffe Fernet, and Humpback.

The group now looks to add two more bars to its portfolio in the first quarter of 2026. “I’m just happy to bring my imagination into reality,” said creative director Jang. “With these new projects, I’ve been thinking about them for a long time, like four or five years, and finally it’s coming up. So I’m really really happy.”

The Sugarhall venue will house one of the new bars. Jigger & Pony Group previously told db that the space would undergo a renovation to make way for a brand new cocktail bar concept.

However, the group said it had “accepted an offer to take over the Rosemead space”, meaning it will no longer be owned or operated by the group.

Jang said he was excited to see the new bar projects come to fruition. “Singapore is going to be so fun next year,” he said.
