HK’s Four Seasons launches Wine Club

The head sommelier at the Four Seasons, Sebastien Allano, will host a monthly series of “wine appreciation” classes to introduce Hong Kong’s wine lovers to the vast world of wine.

Starting from 11 April until 5 December, Sebastien Allano will explore several regions and grape varieties at the two-Michelin star Caprice restaurant, famed in Hong Kong for its cheese cellar.

Covering topics including Syrah vs Shiraz on 11 April, the Loire Valley on 9 May and the much-anticipated Fromage et Vin pairing with cheese sourced from the Caprice cellar on 6 June, each class lasts for one hour from 6-7pm and priced at HK$850, plus 10% per person.

One of Hong Kong’s most renowned sommeliers, Allano has worked at the Four Seasons for 10 years since he moved to Hong Kong. Beforehand, he worked at Le Manoir and George V at the Four Seasons in Paris.
