Don’t miss your chance to enter the DB Awards 2026

Half term is over and while we have no doubt you deserve an award for juggling entertaining the kids with work duties, you probably didn’t get a trophy at the end of it. Enter The Drinks Business Awards to have your hard work recognised (and without a fish finger in sight).

The annual DB Awards are all about celebrating the brightest minds in drinks; those operators that are truly thinking outside the box to find new ways to support our industry.

All categories – from ‘Best Contribution to Wine and Spirits Tourism’ to ‘Fine Wine Retailer of the Year’ – are judged by a panel of experts, including buyers, MWs, major retail figures and top packaging designers.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning an award, be sure to submit your entries here by 17 April. We welcome entries from those working in wine, beer and spirits, including low-alcohol and alcohol-free players, and to boost your chance of success, check out our top tips for winning entries below.

  • Focus on specific achievements your brand or business made in 2025 rather than cumulative feats over the past few years.
  • Provide supporting documents and data to back up your achievements (our judging panel loves to see statistics and financials)
  • Go to town on detail about how your company and/or product stands out from the competition. What are you doing differently to competitors? Where are you breaking the mold?

You can find out who took home trophies in last year’s awards, including the likes of Cockburn’s Port, Mouton Cadet, Sustainability in Drinks, Rioja Paired, Laithwaites, Ocado and Majestic, here.

On the fence? Here are three reasons to enter:

1.Have your hard work recognised
All those hours spent working on a product or project, and the numerous hurdles cleared along the way, deserve recognition. The early mornings, late nights, and caffeine-fuelled problem solving often go uncelebrated as we dive headfirst into the next goal. An award is a permanent reminder of your team’s achievement.

2.Increase industry awareness
Show the rest of the drinks industry what your brand is all about. Not only can you use your win in your own marketing materials, but The Drinks Business will also shout about your prowess on the largest drinks trade website with 650,000 unique users generating 2.2 million page impressions per month. Not bad, eh?

3.Increase consumer trust
Being a DB Award winner translates a quality message faster to customers than any ‘About Us’ web page or social media campaign. Winning an award is an instant indicator that you’re trustworthy and offering something truly special.

The Drinks Business Awards ceremony will be held live at London Olympia during London Wine Fair on Tuesday 19 May 2026.
