New year, new trophy?

Now that 2026 is well and truly underway, why not have your company’s expertise recognised in The Drinks Business Awards? With entries currently open, we want to hear why your enterprise is the bees knees.

There are many reasons why entering The Drinks Business Awards might just be the best thing you do all year. Our winners experience international fame, become instantly good looking, wildly popular and unfathomably rich. OK so we can’t promise that. But what we can promise is that a DB Awards trophy looks impressively shiny on a desk and signals to the world that your business is excelling.

Need more motivation to throw your hat in the ring? Here are five further reasons to enter.

1.Have your hard work recognised
All those hours spent working on a product or project, and the numerous hurdles cleared along the way, deserve recognition. The early mornings, late nights, and caffeine-fuelled problem solving so often go uncelebrated as we dive headfirst into the next goal. An award is a permanent reminder of your team’s achievement.

2.Increase your brand’s awareness
Show the rest of the drinks industry what your brand is all about. A DB award shows that you’re doing something different. Not only can you use your win in your own marketing materials, but The Drinks Business will also shout about your prowess (you’re welcome) to our 30,000+ daily newsletter subscribers. Not bad, eh?

3.Build brand reputation
Successful companies don’t just need customers to know they exist. They also need those customers to think highly of them. Demonstrating that an independent panel of expert judges deems your brand to be exceptional is a great way to do so.

4.Forge new relationships
Network with other DB Awards winners at our in-person ceremony held at London Wine Fair. You might just meet someone who could help take your brand to the next level, or inspire your next gamechanging idea.

5.Increase consumer trust
Being a DB Award winner translates a quality message faster to customers than any ‘About Us’ web page or social media campaign, both of which require a level of engagement. Winning an award is an instant indicator that you’re trustworthy and offering something truly special.

If you want to be in with a chance of bagging an award, be sure to submit your entries here by 24 April. We welcome entries from those working in wine, beer and spirits, including low-alcohol and alcohol-free players, and retailers spanning indies and supermarkets to e-commerce sites. The Drinks Business Awards ceremony will be held live at London Olympia during London Wine Fair on Tuesday 19 May 2026
