Beverage head Krystian Hordejuk and his acclaimed team at Galaxy Bar, Dubai, debuted Galaxy Bar Cocktails, the first bar book to emerge from the Middle East, at Kwānt, Mayfair, during London Cocktail Week.
Fine wine shifts at 67 Pall Mall
Hosted by editor Guy Woodward, 67 Pall Mall’s Fine Wine Trends Report marks the UK Club’s 10th anniversary. Members are turning from Bordeaux and Burgundy’s En Primeur model, seeking value and immediacy in regions such as South Africa, England and Piedmont. Findings also highlight a shift towards drink-now wines with lighter alcohol and greater freshness.
Hennessy sponsors pâté championship
Maison Hennessy Cognac sponsored the UK and Ireland finals of the Pâté en Croûte World Championship at The Savoy. Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, Hennessy’s eighth-generation Master Blender, joined the judging panel, reinforcing the ties between haute cuisine and fine spirits.

The visitors, sporting red neckerchiefs and a raucous attitude, mixed concoctions such as Hokusai Snap, a Bombay Sapphire-based cocktail with Fino Sherry, plum eau de vie and Fuji apple; and Operation Mindf*ck, a smooth combination of Patrón Tequila, Calvados, carrot vermouth and garden peas
