Pasqua 11 Minutes Rosé shows character with Corvina
Introduced in 2017, Pasqua Wines’ 11 Minutes Rosé Trevenezie IGT is a freshness-driven blend that combines native and international grape varieties.

Based in the iconic Italian city of Verona, which sets the stage for William Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, Pasqua has been crafting quality Veneto and other Italian wines since 1925, celebrating its centenary this year. The Pasqua family upholds five core values – innovation, quality, research, tradition and passion – that have been passed down through generations.
The family values are evident in the local wines, all of which are produced in six vineyards across the Veronese appellations – Monte Calvarina, San Felice, Poiano, Mizzole, Monte Vegro, and Cascina San Vincenzo – encompassing DOC, DOCG, and IGT designations.
The winery produces a wide range of wines, including the iconic Mai Dire Mai line, as well as its namesake line of white and red, the celebrated multi-vintage blend Hey French, and the Black Label and Villa Borghetti lines.
Representing the winery’s ‘category-redefining’ take on Italian rosé, 11 Minutes combines native and international grape varieties from the winery’s vineyards in a freshness-driven blend.
11 minutes to perfection
The name ’11 Minutes’ holds a special significance, inspired by the precise duration of skin contact during the grape pressing process. For the Pasqua family, this 11-minute window represents an optimal period that allows the must to soak in the grapes’ finest qualities, resulting in the subtly rosy hue that defines the wine.
11 Minutes Rosé Trevenezie IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) is a blend of native varieties, featuring 50% Corvina, known for its floral aroma and sharp acidity, complemented by 25% Trebbiano. To add an international flair to the blend, a touch of Syrah and Carménère is included, resulting in a harmonious fusion of flavours. These grapes thrive in the sun-drenched vineyards on the shores of Lake Garda, just outside Verona, where the unique terroir plays a crucial role in shaping the wine’s character.

The producer describes the wine as ‘a fresh, enveloping rosé with an intense and complex bouquet, created to accompany spring or summer evenings.’
Riccardo Pasqua, CEO of Pasqua Wines, explained the inspiration behind creating the wine: “We studied emerging trends and we identified rosé as a global trend, throughout the markets in which we operate. We interpreted it with grapes from vineyards located in one of the most beautiful areas surrounding Lake Garda, between Sirmione and Bardolino. A unique terroir, our long wine-making tradition, and wine trends all came together in this project.”

“Pasqua 11 Minutes is a wine that embodies quality and innovation, the hallmarks of our company,” said Umberto Pasqua, president of Pasqua Wines. “The blend of native and international grape varieties expresses all our affection for the territory and at the same time our ability to innovate through the know-how gained over our nearly one hundred years of history.”
In 2021, Pasqua unveiled a new addition to its rosé collection: Y by 11 Minutes. Y explores the many expressive and aromatic nuances that rosé can offer, and a more complex and gastronomical version of the 11 Minutes rosé.
The Y rosé presents a strong and multifaceted personality, characterised by diverse elements that coexist. It features a blend of complexity and freshness, structure and delicacy, along with fruity notes and a creamy palate. The graphic symbol for Y is meant to reflect the winemaking style and personality of the wine. Much like the letter itself, three distinct grapes come together to create Y: two native varietals, Corvina and Trebbiano di Lugana, combined with the international variety Carménère, all sourced from vineyards around Lake Garda.
Corvina makes up 60% of the blend, providing hints of red fruit and significant acidity. Trebbiano comprises 30% and contributes delicate aromas of citrus and white flowers, adding elegance and a long finish. Carménère completes the blend by providing structure and ensuring the wine’s smooth texture over time.
