Iron Maiden fans can now drink Trooper on draught at home
Iron Maiden’s beer Trooper, which has sold more than 40 million pints worldwide, is now available on keg with PerfectDraft beer machines.
The highly-popular award-winning beer, which was created by Robinsons Brewery in collaboration with Iron Maiden, was first brewed in 2013 and, despite being sold in more than 64 countries, it has only been available in cans, bottles or served inside British pubs. Until now.
Today, Trooper launches in six-litre kegs (an amount that is equal to around 10.5 pints), initially to the UK market before being rolled out across other European countries including Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands and Sweden in due course.

Describing the PerfectDraft availability of Trooper, Robinsons noted the sustainability benefits of the machine, but also reiterated how the pub was still king when it came to atmosphere.
Robinsons Brewery managing director Oliver Robinson said: “As well as serving up Trooper in a condition almost as great as the pub – you can’t beat the atmosphere of the British pub – it’s a refillable and returnable product too, meaning minimal waste production and creating a circular economy”.
PerfectDraft and Robinsons will be launching the beer to new customers as a bundle with a PerfectDraft machine, Trooper keg and glassware. There will also be single Trooper kegs and limited edition merchandise for current customers.
