Southern Glazer’s rolls out B2B platform across 27 US markets

The US’s largest drinks wholesaler, Southern Glazer’s, has rolled out its B2B ecommerce platform across 27 US markets.

The platform, called Proof, was first launched in April 2019 but was only initially available to customers in Indiana, Kentucky and Washington, and later Florida, Oregon and South Carolina.

The enhanced roll-out is now available across 27 states (including Washington DC), allowing cusotmers to manage their order in one place, 24/7 with fulfillment direct from the warehouse. 

John Wittig, Southern Glazer’s chief commercial officer said the platform had already enabled its suppliers to reach customers “in a whole new way”, using data and insights to collaborated better and find new products.

“At Southern Glazer’s, we are committed to innovation and continually evolving Proof™ based on customer feedback to ensure that the online experience is enjoyable, seamless, efficient, and the best in the business,” he said.

Chairman and CEO Wayne Chaplin, added that the platform was “more important than ever as we all continue to navigate ways of conducting business as safely as possible amid COVID-19 and beyond.”. “Service is at the heart of what we do, and Proof™, in combination with our world-class frontline heroes, continues to deliver unparalleled features and functionality, providing convenience, stability, and reliability to our customers at a time when everything else has experienced unprecedented change.”
