Despite lockdown in France, Gabriel Meffre launches rosé primed for summer

Rhône Valley winery Gabriel Meffre has launched a range of brightly-coloured rosé bottles in time for summer sales.

The winery has partnered with glass maker O-I: to create a range of brightly-coloured, tactile wine bottles which are “inspired by Provencal patterns creates an incomparable bottle with an ultra-chic appearance.”

The estate hopes to cash in on the surging demand for premium rosé wines.

Called “Inspiration by Gabriel Meffre”, the series offers rosé in a bottle available in six colours,”forming a case with a very collectable style.”

“This is exactly what we were looking for our Rosé Inspiration: elegance, transparency and originality. O-I: EXPRESSIONS immediately seduced us with its creative and premium qualities, but also with its flexibility of use”, said Valérie Vincent, marketing and communications manager of Maison Gabriel Meffre.

Rhône producer Gabriel Meffre bought 11 hectares of vineyards in and around the appellation of Cairanne last October, bringing its total holdings to 90ha across the region.
