McWilliam’s launches CNY personalized wine labels

In the run up to the Year of the Rooster, McWilliam’s Wines has teamed up with Park N Shop to design personalized wine labels with any purchase of two McWilliam’s wines.

For those looking to immortalise themselves on a wine bottle as an unusual Chinese New Year gift, McWilliam’s is offering a personalised wine label service at Olympian City in Mong Kok from now up until 26 January.

After buying two bottles from McWilliam’s Hanwood Estate or JJ McWilliam ranges from any Park N Shop retail store, wine lovers can get their photo snapped and printed on the bottle label at Olympian City’s Chinese New Year market up until 15 January or its Taste supermarket from 16-26 January.

The McWilliam’s Hanwood Estate range includes a Riesling, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon whereas the JJ William collection comprises a Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Merlot and Shiraz Cabernet.

In the lead up to Chinese New Year which this year officially starts on 28 January, wine companies often cash in on the gift giving traditions with the wildly popular Penfolds recently releasing a limited edition ‘Rooster’ bottle, in honour of its former chief winemaker, Max Schubert and Massimo Ferragamo launching his top end wine, Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG 2010 Zodiac Rooster from Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany.
