Robinson’s Brewery expands SA wine offer

Robinson’s Wines, part of Robinson’s Brewery, has bolstered its South Africa offer with the addition of three new boutique producers from the Cape to its portfolio.

Nitida is a small family owned winery in Durbanville which has been run by the Veller family since 1990.

Its Sauvignon Blanc, Coronata Integration (a Semillon Sauvignon blend), Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon will be available through Robinsons.

Haut Espoir, which means “high hope”, is a boutique, biodynamic wine estate in Franschhoek which has been run by the Armstrong family since 1999. Robinsons has taken on its Chardonnay and Syrah.

Finally, Noble Hill is a family-owned winery on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountains between Stellenbosh and Paarl, with its Viognier and Syrah making their way onto Robinson’s list.

“We aim to partner family businesses that mirror our own drive for exceptional quality and we feel we have found the perfect partners”, said Noel Reid, wine buyer for Robinsons Wines.

The wines from Nitida, Haut Espoir and Noble Hill will be available to Robinsons’ estate from early October alongside tasting sessions at the SITT (Specialist Importers Trade Tasting) in Manchester and London on the 19 and 21 of September.
