Bud Light unveils NFL can designs

Bud Light has unveiled new limited edition packaging designs featuring the National Football league teams it sponsors.

For the 2016-2017 season the beer giant has trialled a new “minimalist” design, with the logos of each of the teams it sponsors featured on the cans.

The new designs are the latest instalment in Bud Light’s “Beer with your team on it” campaign and 27 of the 32 teams in the NFL are represented.

Four teams: the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings are sponsored by MillerCoors and so will not be represented, while the LA Rams are expected to receive a design once Bud Light renegotiates a deal with the franchise’s owner which was necessitated by the team’s relocation from St Louis to the west coast earlier this year.

Cans with the new designs are available now and a new marketing campaign to accompany them will roll out in September with the start of the new season.
