Vivo Cantine takes over Dogarina

Italian co-op Vivo Cantine (Viticoltori del Veneto Orientale Cooperative) has bought Treviso-based Prosecco producer Vigna Dogarina.

The sale of the 80-hectare estate includes all of its vineyards, and its winery, vinification tanks and bottling line.

The move comes as Vino Cantine seeks to expand its portfolio, which already includes eight wineries and a bottling facility, Bosco Viticultori.

Vigna Dogarina will form part of the company’s premium wine offering, which will be managed directly by Vivo Cantine from grape to glass.

The sale of the company will be officially complete on 1 August.
