Following on from its UK release,  Barbadillo Vesos 1891 has arrived in Hong Kong and is one of only 100 bottles in existence. Hailing from one of five casks referred to as ‘Los Niños’ (the children’s casks), it was given as a christening present to former Barbadillo director and winemaker, Manuel Barbadillo when he was born in 1891 by his father. Manuel then went on to become a poet, philanthropist and eventually Mayor of Sanlucar – the northern tip of Spain’s “Sherry Triangle.”

The Vesos 1891 is offered in an individually carved crystal glass bottle that has been etched with gold, whilst the bottle neck and the cork is hand painted with platinum. The  and is presented in a fine Spanish leather box with a luxury price tag of HK$89,450 (£8,000).
