Liberty strengthens operations

UK importer Liberty Wines has bolstered its customer service, logistics and distribution arm with the appointment of a new head of operations.

Alan Mully joined the team in July from his previous role as multi-channel logistics manager for UK supermarket Sainsbury’s. Prior to that he was logistics manager for another major retailer, Marks & Spencer.

His appointment aims to support the recent growth of Liberty Wines, which was named On-Trade Supplier of the Year at The Drinks Business Awards 2015.
