ProWein offers ‘targeted search’ for exbibitors

Likened to online-dating for the drinks trade, the newly launched “targeted search” function for exhibitors at ProWein this year will pair businesses in need of each others’ services.

Additional criteria requested from exhibitors for the first time now make it possible for visitors from the retail and restaurant trade to perform targeted searches for new business partners, allowing them to make contact before the event has even begun.

Using the “Extended Exhibitor Search” option on the ProWein website will allow an on-trade venue in need of a supplier to search for the businesses best suited its needs.

For example, a retailer from North America seeking a new sparkling wine supplier from France wants to be sure it only approaches producers also interested in supplying that market.

Thanks to the “Extended Exhibitor Search” function available via the direct link www.prowein.com/export (or via www.prowein.com – “Exhibitors and Products” – “Extended Exhibitor Search” on the left-hand side of the navigation menu) a search like this can be filtered in just a few clicks.

For the above example one would simply select “Country: France”, “Product Category: Sparkling Wine” and “Export: North America”.

The list of results contains all the contact data of any relevant exhibitor so that contact can already be made before the trade fair, or arrangements made to meet at the fair.

ProWein kicks off this Sunday, March 15, and continues until Tuesday, March 17.
