While the oak influence is noticeable, it adds a layer of complexity rather than overwhelming the fruit. On the palate, the wine is lean and juicy, exhibiting a refreshing balance of acidity and finely textured tannins. Flavours of plums and juicy red forest fruits dominate, enhanced by rustic, meaty undertones and a touch of spice.
