Tasting notes:

Château Leoube fashions beautiful rosé wines from organically-grown grapes from their vineyards, where the land meets the sea in the Provençal département of the Var, overlooking the Hyères islands. This, their zero-alcohol sparkling version, is delightful. Medium vieux-rose in colour with mid-sized bubbles and a wide cordon, the wine is fragrant and packed with strawberry and cranberry fruit accented by a touch of garrigue. Medium-dry (25g/l r.s.), the light-bodied palate has well-defined flavours balanced by crisp acidity and brittle mousse texture. Savoury on the finish, this wine would make a good pairing for smoked salmon-crème fraiche canapés. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW].
