Tasting notes:

How \'high\' can Gatt take their stunning High Eden Rieslings? Well, in this 2025 edition of the Riesling Masters, they have retained a well-earned space among our Gold awards. \'Yum\', that \'highly\' technical tasting term, definitely applies here. Medium yellow-gold in colour, the aromas are redolent of apricot, orange blossom and mirabelle plum with lime pickle, and the petrol notes indicating development. Dry and well-defined, the palate is mid-weight, but quite linear, with brisk acidity and an underlying quartz-gravel accent. The wine would be excellent with seared skate cheeks in a lemon-white wine reduction. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
