Tasting notes:
Deep intense purple colour is matched by the layered intensity of the nose and palate. It has ripe blackberry and dark cherry aromas, whiffs of tobacco leaves and blueberries, and a hint of spicy mocha. In the mouth it is quite grippy and grainy, but with an appealing fleshy core, ripe tannins, youthful vibrant fruits and an elegant warming finish with a hint of slatey minerality. (Siobhan Turner MW)
