Low-alcohol red wine is notoriously difficult to produce and, in this example, 6Percent manages to mimic wine structure, texture and taste profile with great success. Juicy plum fruit (Merlot) with blackcurrant and a hint of herbaceousness (Cabernet Sauvignon) are framed by crisp acidity and supple tannins. A little residual sugar (6g/l) enhances the plush fruit and balances the wine. Excellent choice for turkey. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
