Tasting notes:

This wine is part of Marisco Vineyard\'s \'new Ned\', packaged in a can for added convenience and equal pleasure.  A companion to the much lighter Pinot Gris, this wine displays a pale salmon-pink colour and crushed summer pudding red-and-black fruits with hints of strawberry jam and cream soda. Just off-dry (4g/l r.s.), the palate is light-bodied with brisk acidity. A hint of tannin adds structure. Persistent and slightly chalky on the finish, this a perfect match for cold poached salmon, but would work with any simply-prepared \'swimming fish\'. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
