Giesen have long been known for producing good quality Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs and this venture into the world of lower alcohol \'Savvy-B\' is a super example. Very pale lime-green in colour, the wine has greengage and kiwi fruit with an aromatic white flower overlay. Medium-dry (13g/l r.s.) and light-bodied, the palate flavours are balanced by racy acidity. Linear in style, the wine is a good choice for Beijing-style lemon chicken. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
