Tasting notes:

Bodegas Chivite, established in 1647, is one of the very old family dynasties in Spain, and Navarra is its homeland. Medium yellow in colour, this late harvest style from Muscat grapes  displays greengage,  apricot, orange marmalade and honey with lemon and tangerine zests. Very sweet (107g.l r.s.), the palate is light-bodied with the flavours balanced by crisp acidity with touches of forest floor and balsamic giving interest. A delicious wine that will pair with simple crèpes garnished with a squeeze of lemon and icing sugar. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
