Tasting notes:

This wine has been produced for more than 50 years in the Peller \'homeland\' of the Niagara Peninsula in Ontario. It is a benchmark for Canadian Ice wine. Pale yellow-gold in hue, the wine is pure Riesling. With superb varietal definition, the wine shows apricots, yellow peach and a hint of acacia honey. Very sweet (187g/l r.s.), the palate has light-body, but excellent concentration and creamy texture balanced by racy acidity. With very good length, the wine would be a perfect pairing for a classic double-crust apple pie served with Madagascar vanilla ice cream. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
