Tasting notes:

Owned and managed by Martin and Carmen Moser in Rohrendorf, Kremstal, this 300-year old estate produces a fantastic range, including this stellar Trockebeerenauslese. Medium-deep orange gold in hue, the wine shows grapefruit marmalade, apricot and ripe yellow peach fruit with lime juice and macadamia nut accents. Very sweet (215 g/l r.s.) and slightly raisined, yet elegant, the palate flavours are balanced by bracing acidity and rich, creamy texture and a chalky underlying note. Absolutely superb, the wine will be a perfect match for cream-stuffed Crêpes Suzette, flamed with Grand Marnier. [Patricia Stefanowicz MW]
