Tasting notes:

Pierre Ögren is the great-grandson of Baron Philippe de Rothschild and is the winemaker behind this wine. And a delicious example of modern red Bordeaux it is. Mid-cherry coloured, the wine shows vibrant cherry, plum and pomegranate fruit in a light-bodied, easy-drinking style. Dry, with brisk acidity and supple tannins, the wine has good intensity of flavours and a sappy-savoury finish. Slightly chilled, this works well with pre-dinner nibbles such as bruschetta, or is a good partner for classic steak tartare.  (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
