Tasting notes:
This cool-climate, high-altitude wine comes from the San Juan region, and is packed with crunchy dark berries, accented by aromas of roses and violets, tobacco, pencil shavings and stony minerality. Sweet-fruited, quite a dark, almost brooding wine, the palate is balanced by dense, grainy tannins and lively acidity.
