On the nose, the wine initially appears somewhat reticent, revealing limited aromatic complexity. The palate, however, is strikingly bold, showcasing deep, dark fruit notes of cherry and plum, complemented by a subtle hint of cassis. The alcohol is pronounced, yet the wine feels somewhat stripped of fruit expression, which may detract from its overall appeal at this price point. Finely grained tannins provide a structured framework for the exuberant fruit.
