This fine, youthful, classic vintage Port is rich in so many appealing flavours, which burst forth in layers as one sips it. Opaque in the glass, with its deep ruby appearance, there’s plenty of ripe black fruit and dried cherry too. Beyond this are wonderful and sweet flavours of raisin and prune, with a background warming spirit, and lingering freshness, as well as plenty of dense, fine, mouth-coating tannins.
