This strikingly-packaged Chilean red blend is far from style over substance. Rich in blackcurrant and cherry fruit, there’s a soft fleshiness to the mid-palate, complemented by cooler notes of capsicum, as well as complex characters of cedar and cigar box from barrel ageing, then mouth-cleansing and firm but quite fine tannins on the finish.
